Murmur Of Monks is excited to announce its second full length 'Sol Oriens'. The album will be officially released on September 25th and will be available through Bandcamp only. No physical release is scheduled for now.

'Sol Oriens' will focus mainly on (middle) eastern traditional music, combined with the trademark MOM Blacktron sound. Once again mainman Humwawa handled full songwriting, programming, performance, artwork, production and mixing of the album. The mastering of the album was done by longtime MOM collaborator Brecht Tant, who also worked on the recent MOM Trinity-series.

As a preview for the record, an official video for the song 'To Weep Once More' is available now. The track is one of the mesmerizing instrumentals on the album, combining MOM's feeling for great melodies with the sounds of the middle east. The song is also dedicated to the works of Dead Can Dance, one of Humwawa's personal favourites and probably a good reference when it comes to defining MOM's eclectic way of songwriting.
